Tim’s Hunt is the flagship event of the T.H. Legacy Foundation and the inspiration behind our organization’s founding.

When Army veteran Tim Hubacek was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and given only months to live, his fellow brother-in-arms, Andy, asked him what experiences he wished to enjoy most during that time. One of his heartfelt wishes was to hunt a quality whitetail buck.

With the support of community members, partnering organizations, and fellow veterans, Andy helped make that wish a reality. Following Tim’s passing, the spirit of Tim’s Hunt carried on—evolving into an ongoing event that now honors his legacy by providing other veterans with the camaraderie, respect, and shared purpose that define military service.
